1、Ms. Leong– Lung cancer patient – Malaysia

My surname is Leong, I’m 75 years old and from Ipoh, Malaysia.

(Ms. Leongand her husband)

On January 23, 2024, I suddenly felt my heart beating violently, accompanied by bouts of chest pain, and after going to the local hospital for examination, I was diagnosed with lung cancer, there are two huge masses of 3.4*4.5*3.4cm and 4.4*2.5*3.6cm in my left lung, in addition to a moderate amount of pleural effusion. After that, I received a cycle of chemotherapy at my local hospital. The chemotherapy did relieve my symptoms a little, but it also brought side effects such as a sudden weight loss of 7 kilograms and hair loss.

My colleague's younger brother, a stage IV lung cancer patient, has been treated at St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou and has achieved significant efficacy. On his recommendation, on March 6 of the same year, I chose to come here with great confidence. After the treatment, the pleural effusion, which occupies almost half of my lungs, has almost disappeared, many metastatic lesions such as lungs and lymph nodes have also shrunk significantly, and the dyspnea and cough that have plagued me for a long time have disappeared!

2、Wong Wee Leng - Lung cancer patient - Malaysia

I'm Wong Wee Leng and I'm from Penang, Malaysia. In March 2019, I was diagnosed with stage III lung cancer due to a persistent cough, when the entire right lung was covered by a tumor about 10cm big.

The local doctor gave me chemotherapy and medicine, but when the doctor told me that the tumor could only shrink by 30% this way and that I might develop drug resistance and need to change to expensive drugs, I hesitated. Finally, with the recommendation of a friend who successfully defeated breast cancer, I learned about St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, and after a detailed consultation, I decided to go abroad for a try.

(Ms. Wong Wee Leng)

I arrived here in mid-April 2019. Since falling ill, my physical condition has worsened. I wheeze when I walk and cough constantly, causing me to lose 10 kilograms. After treatment, a follow-up examination in July 2019 revealed that all my severe symptoms had disappeared, including the 10cm tumor and other metastatic lesions. When I returned home, my friends were amazed to see my transformation.

3、Mr. Amorn - Lung cancer patient - Thailand

My name is Amorn and I’m from Thailand. At the beginning of March 2019, I went to the doctor because of coughing with sputum and the pain in my right chest and back, I was diagnosed with stage 3 right lung cancer with mediastinal lymph node metastasis later.

Since the local treatment in Thailand is limited to traditional surgery and systemic chemotherapy and radiotherapy, I wanted to find better and more effective anti-tumor treatments. Later, through the Internet, I learned about St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou and its minimally invasive treatment technology, and after many comparisons and detailed consultations, I came here on March 29, accompanied by my family.

The first time I was admitted to the hospital, I was in very poor condition. I had to stay in bed due to back pain, but it caused pain whether I lay on my back or my side, especially when I coughed. After the first treatment, my cough and pain improved significantly. During my follow-up check-up, it was found that the tumor in my lung had shrunk a lot, and the other metastases were gone!

4、Ramli Rukiana - Lung cancer patient - Indonesia

I'm Ramli Rukiana from Batam, Indonesia, and I'm 50 years old this year. In November 2023, I sought medical treatment for more than 2 months due to hoarseness and was later diagnosed with lung cancer in a Singapore hospital.

I have a history of high-risk heart disease, and when I was first diagnosed, I was very negative, in my opinion, cancer was almost equal to death, and I was more reluctant to suffer from traditional treatments. It was with my wife's encouragement that I chose to cheer up. Later, I was inspired to hear that one of my relatives had been treated at St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou and had successfully defeated cancer, and I learned about the hospital. After a detailed consultation, in December 2023, I officially came for treatment.

When I was admitted to the hospital, the results showed that I had stage IV lung cancer with a tumor size of approximately 1.7cm and lymph node metastasis. After the first treatment, I felt noticeably better and even joked with the doctor that I would be able to go home the same day. After a series of treatments, I found that my lung tumor had almost disappeared, the metastatic part of my lymphoma had been significantly reduced, and all the indicators of my body were showing signs of recovery!
