This event invited oncologist Director Peng Xiaochi to explain the international Nano knife minimally invasive treatment technology. For cancer patients, this will be a lecture event that brings hope to life.
Nano knife minimally invasive tumor treatment is a new type of non-thermal tumor minimally invasive ablation technology, derived from irreversible electroporation (IRE). By releasing short pulses with high electric field, it destroys the lipid bilayer structure of tumor cell membrane, forms countless irreversible nanopores on the membrane, changes the permeability of cell membrane, and makes molecules of different sizes freely enter and exit the cell, causing cell death. Nano knife have the advantages of short ablation time, not affected by the heat island effect, preservation of important tissues such as blood vessels and nerves in the treatment area, thorough treatment with clear boundaries, and normal function of the treatment area.
Director Peng explained in detail the knowledge of minimally invasive Nano knife treatment from the principles, methods, operation process and treatment effect ofNanoknife minimally invasive treatment. He said that Nanoknife can do things that other ablation methods cannot do in use, and the technology will be more and more widely used in cancer treatment.
After listening to Director Peng's explanation, Dr Daovone Thepsouvanh, President of Lao Oncology Association, said the mature application of Nano knife minimally invasive treatment technology will provide more choices for cancer patients and bring new hope for recovery. At the same time, it is hoped that St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou can carry out more similar training activities related to cancer treatment in Laos.
The doctors and volunteers present also listened attentively, actively asked questions, and thanked Director Peng for the wonderful lecture he brought to them. Then they also interacted with Director Peng, Director Peng patiently and carefully explained various questions raised by everyone.
The international minimally invasive cancer treatment technology sharing meeting jointly organized by the Lao Office of St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou and the Lao Oncology Association not only brought new knowledge and technology to the local people, but also set up on-site consultation for cancer patients, and experts pointed out the road of cancer treatment face-to-face.
