On the afternoon of September 2nd, Dr. Yang Weixiong, President of the Malaysian Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, visited St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou and was received by He Langbing, Director of the International Affairs Department of St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, Director Song Shijun, Chief Oncologist, and Professor Peng Xiaochi of the Department of Oncology. The purpose of this visit and exchange activity is to strengthen the friendship and exchanges between the two sides, discuss the prevention and treatment technology of cancer with TCM, and benefit more cancer patients.

On behalf of St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, He Langbing, Director of the International Affairs Department, Director Song Shijun, Chief Oncologist, Professor Peng Xiaochi, and Assistant Director Liu Yansheng extended a warm welcome to Dr. Yang Weixiong, President of the Malaysian Chinese Medicine Association.

Subsequently, Dr. Yang Weixiong, accompanied by He Langbing, Director of the International Affairs Department and the directors of relevant departments, visited the Interventional Room, Minimally Invasive Room, VIP ward, Information System, Remote Consultation Center, etc., to gain an in-depth understanding of the minimally invasive treatment technology and infrastructure and cultural construction of our hospital.

The two sides exchanged and discussed the application of TCM technology in cancer treatment in the remote consultation center. Both sides agreed that as a medical system with a long history, the efficacy of TCM in cancer treatment cannot be ignored. Through the combination of TCM and Western medicine, we can give full play to the advantages of TCM and provide patients with a more comprehensive and personalized treatment plan.

Director Song Shijun also introduced the hospital's advanced cancer prevention and treatment concepts as well as minimally invasive treatment technologies such as cryotherapy, interventional therapy, nano-knife, particle implantation, etc. to Dr. Yeo Wei Xiong, President of the Federation of Malaysian Chinese Medicine, who was extremely appreciative of the hospital's efforts after listening to the presentation.

This model can avoid the limitations of a single field and improve the accuracy and effectiveness of diagnosis and treatment.
