In the context of China's "Belt and Road" initiative, aimed at enhancing international medical cooperation and elevating the standards of cross-border healthcare services, President Lin Zhicheng of St. Stamford International Medical Group recently paid New Year visits to the Philippine Consulate and the Indonesian Consulate in Guangzhou. The purpose was to explore deeper collaboration with these countries in the medical field, thereby better-serving patients from both sides.

On the afternoon of February 12, President Lin and his delegation held a cordial meeting with the Consul of the Philippine Consulate in Guangzhou. During the discussion, President Lin highlighted that over the years, the hospital has maintained close medical exchanges and collaborations with Philippine medical institutions and social organizations. He emphasized that the hospital not only focuses on inpatient treatment but also regularly arranges for doctors to conduct overseas visits. In 2024, the Manila International Service Center specially visited an old patient in Lila City who had survived for 13 years and received support from the local government. President Lin sincerely hopes that the consulate can facilitate visa applications, provide seamless medical services, and further enhance the hospital's international medical service level. Additionally, he extended an invitation to the Consul General to visit Filipino patients receiving treatment at the hospital to gain a firsthand understanding of the medical environment and service quality.

The Philippine Consul praised the high-quality services provided by Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou and expressed a strong desire for the hospital to explore opportunities for cross-border collaboration, such as co-founding a hospital or establishing a partnership with a local hospital in the Philippines, to promote mutual development in the medical sector. President Lin responded positively to this proposal, expressing his willingness to actively participate and expecting the Consul to provide a richer resource network and more diversified cooperation opportunities to achieve a mutually beneficial outcome.

President Lin Zhicheng and his delegation visited the Indonesian Consulate in Guangzhou

On the morning of the next day (February 13), President Lin Zhicheng had an in-depth exchange with the Consul of the Indonesian Consulate in Guangzhou. Both sides agreed that the two countries have close relations and should continue to strengthen cooperation and improvement in the medical field in the future. During the talks, President Lin said that since our hospital opened up the international market in 2006, the first patient it received was Indonesian. Now we have established four international service centers in Indonesia, bringing treatment convenience to local Indonesian patients with advanced technology. The Consul General expressed praise for the hospital's superb treatment technology. He specifically pointed out that he hoped that both parties could maintain constant communication and exchange, share information, and jointly provide better medical services to Indonesian patients.
