My name is DANG THI LEN, and I am from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It may be hard to imagine that I, who am now "healthy" and optimistic, was diagnosed with advanced bile duct cancer six years ago. During those desperate and helpless days, it was the minimally invasive treatment technology that gave me hope for survival and eventually a new life. Now, I actively participate in various anti-cancer sharing activities, not only to convey hope but also to let more cancer patients understand the advantages of minimally invasive technology through my story, and to find a way to defeat cancer.

Facing Despair: Minimally Invasive Technology Brings Miracles of Life

Upon receiving a cancer diagnosis, my world crumbled instantly, as if the specter of death loomed over me. The available treatment options in Vietnam offered no viable solutions, plunging me into profound despair.

At this moment of helplessness, an old friend recommended the minimally invasive treatment technology at St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou. After thorough research, I glimpsed a ray of hope. This advanced technology, characterized by its precision, safety, and minimal invasiveness, offers a lifeline to patients like me with advanced-stage cancer. With this last glimmer of hope, I decided to travel to Guangzhou, China, to seize this final opportunity.

Through minimally invasive treatment, the tumor in my intrahepatic bile duct was effectively controlled. Six years have passed without recurrence, and I feel healthier than before my diagnosis. My weight has also increased. This experience profoundly demonstrated that minimally invasive technology not only extends life but also allows patients to combat and overcome cancer with dignity.

Spreading hope: Let more people benefit from minimally invasive technology

Now, my life has long returned to normal, but I know that there are still many people struggling on the road to fighting cancer. Therefore, I am determined to tell more patients through my own experience: that cancer is not invincible, and minimally invasive treatment technology can give them hope.

In September this year, I was invited to record the famous Vietnamese talk show "Nhu Mot Dieu Uoc" which is broadcast on HTV3 every Sunday at 7:30 pm. This program aims to help those who are in trouble but still want to survive, and bring them hope and warmth. Once the program was broadcast, it touched the hearts of countless viewers. In the program, I shared my experience in fighting cancer. After my program was broadcast, I received feedback from many cancer patients.

One patient left a message to tell me: "After listening to your story, I regained my confidence in treatment and began to believe that cancer is not invincible." In addition, a patient contacted me through the Ho Chi Minh International Service Center to thank me for the minimally invasive treatment technology I mentioned in the program. He said that after seeing my current “healthy” state, he felt for the first time that his future might be full of hope. This patient later decided to go to St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou and has started to receive minimally invasive treatment. After learning this, I am more convinced that by sharing my story, I can ignite hope for more cancer patients.

Keep Sharing: Illuminating More Lives

At the recent "Minimally Invasive Liver Cancer Treatment Conference," I had the opportunity to share my anti-cancer journey. After my presentation, a patient approached me and said, "Your story has given me the confidence to face cancer. I signed up for this session to learn more about minimally invasive treatment." Hearing this feedback filled me with gratitude and reinforced my commitment to advocating for this technology among more patients.

Moving forward, I will continue to share my experience to help people understand the benefits of minimally invasive treatments. Cancer is not unbeatable; with the right treatment and a strong belief, it can be overcome.
I hope my stories can inspire more patients and guide them toward a healthier life.
