She was in her 70s and didn't expect to develop lung cancer, and her weight plummeted by 7kg

Ms. Leong is 75 years old and is from Ipoh, Malaysia.

On January 23, 2024, an ordinary day, Ms. Leong, who was at home, suddenly felt her heart beating violently, accompanied by a burst of chest pain, so she immediately rushed to the local hospital for examination. After the examination, the doctor ruled out a heart problem for Ms. Leong. When investigating lung factors, the doctor found that Ms. Leong's left lung had two huge masses measuring 3.4*4.5*3.4cm and 4.4*2.5*3.6cm respectively. The CT scan showed a moderate amount of pleural effusion. Furthermore, the fluid was extracted and analyzed, revealing that Ms. Leong was suffering from lung cancer.

This bad news upset Ms. Leong, who was always optimistic, but she still chose to face it bravely. From 24 February to 1 March of the same year, Ms. Leong received a course of traditional chemotherapy at the local hospital. The chemotherapy did help Ms. Leong recover from her chest pains, but it also brought side effects such as a 7kg weight loss and hair loss. These adverse effects made Ms. Leong, who was already thin, look even thinner.

Integrating minimally invasive treatment allows a septuagenarian with lung cancer to breathe freely

Optimistic people tend to have good luck.
