Phuong Linh Nhi, a young Vietnamese girl full of dreams, suffered a heavy blow from fate in the best years of her life. She had been fighting lung cancer for more than three years before she turned 28. In June 2021, Phuong Linh Nhi was diagnosed with lung cancer, and this bad news instantly plunged her life into darkness. After undergoing surgical resection at a local hospital, the disease soon relapsed, which almost made her lose the courage to continue fighting cancer.

(Phuong Linh Nhi)

Just when she was almost swallowed by despair, she happened to see our hospital's integrated minimally invasive cancer treatment technology and was attracted. In April 2024, she came to our hospital resolutely, looking forward to a turn in her destiny.

Here, she received natural therapy + interventional treatment. A miracle happened quietly. The lung tumor that once ravaged her body shrank by about 60%. She was still dependent on a wheelchair when she was first admitted to the hospital, but now she has recovered her normal walking, her quality of life has been greatly improved, and her life has regained its brilliance.

Firmly believe in modern medicine - minimally invasive interventional therapy is the right choice

Phuong Linh Nhi's mother said: "Out of trust in the level of modern medicine, while constantly seeking treatment methods, I came across the minimally invasive treatment technology of St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou. In addition, I heard that my neighbor had good treatment results in this hospital, so I decided to take my daughter to Guangzhou for minimally invasive treatment." Compared with traditional surgery and chemotherapy, which are not only traumatic and cause great damage to the patient's body, but are also prone to recurrence and metastasis after surgery, minimally invasive tumor treatment not only has small trauma and precise positioning but also can effectively "kill" the tumor without damaging the normal tissue cells around the cancer, greatly reducing the recurrence and metastasis rate of patients after treatment.

Interventional therapy is a treatment in which doctors, under the guidance of imaging equipment, can deliver anti-tumor drugs with concentrations dozens of times higher than traditional chemotherapy drugs into the tumor blood vessels through a catheter with only a 2mm incision. Therefore, the effect of one interventional treatment is equivalent to 3-4 conventional chemotherapy sessions.

Lung tumors shrank by about 60%

Due to the patient's young age, after being diagnosed with lung cancer, Phuong Linh Nhi underwent surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy at local hospitals in Vietnam. However, the treatment had limited effectiveness, and the disease recurred with multiple lymph node metastases in addition to the lung tumors. The patient’s condition was also quite weak. Therefore, our hospital's MDT of experts developed a treatment plan combining natural therapy and interventional therapy for Phuong Linh Nhi, tailored to her physical condition. The plan initially aimed to enhance the patient’s immune system and overall resistance through natural therapy, followed by interventional therapy to "destroy" the lung cancer cells, causing the tumors to continuously shrink until they disappeared. After six sessions of integrated minimally invasive treatment, a CT scan showed that Phuong Linh Nhi's lung tumors had shrunk by about 60%, and the multiple lymph node metastases had significantly diminished or even disappeared. When she was admitted, Phuong Linh Nhi needed a wheelchair and coughed continuously throughout the day. Now, she no longer coughs and can walk independently. Her physical condition has visibly improved.

Minimally invasive interventional therapy sparks the light of life.

When Phuong Linh Nhi was first diagnosed, she received traditional treatment in a hospital in Vietnam. The initial results gave them a glimmer of hope. However, the subsequent treatment was full of uncertainty. The doctors' plans were chaotic and the treatment effects were getting less and less ideal, which made Phuong Linh Nhi very disappointed. Despite this, her mother never gave up and encouraged Phuong Linh Nhi to take active treatment while constantly looking for new treatment techniques. Finally, the minimally invasive treatment technology of St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou gave them hope again. After the integration of minimally invasive treatment in our hospital, Phuong Linh Nhi's symptoms began to improve, her body gradually recovered, and her life returned to normal.

May minimally invasive interventional therapy ignite the light of life for more people

"For cancer patients who are undergoing treatment, I suggest that you maintain an optimistic attitude, do not give up, believe in modern medicine, and believe in minimally invasive treatment technology." For cancer patients, recovery is not a coincidence but more of a choice. Choosing the right hospital and technology and receiving timely treatment can effectively prolong the patient's survival.
