"What should we do when we learn that a loved one has cancer? After my husband was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer, I helped him find the best treatment method, accompanied him through every treatment, and told him that cancer can be defeated! I hope that friends who are facing cancer can maintain a good attitude and communicate more with their families. Because as family members, we will do our best to help no matter what, so you can't give up!"

My husband collapsed when he learned that he had stage IV lung cancer!

Mochamad Sadikin, my husband, began experiencing symptoms such as coughing, difficulty breathing, and fever in October 2023. A CT scan at the local hospital revealed a malignant tumor in his left lung, liver metastasis, and accompanying pleural effusion. The biopsy results confirmed lung adenocarcinoma. Upon seeing the report, I was shocked, and my husband completely broke down. In just two weeks, he lost 24 kilograms. My family and I were deeply saddened, but to help my husband stay strong, we took turns caring for him, steadfastly assuring him that we would do everything possible to support him in his fight against cancer and find the right treatment. Cancer can be defeated!

I firmly believe that cancer can be defeated!

I quickly informed my relatives about my husband’s cancer diagnosis to seek their help. My cousin, who had liver cancer but is now healthy after minimally invasive treatment, recommended the St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou. With assistance from the Jakarta International Service Center, we learned more about minimally invasive tumor technologies and found many success stories similar to ours. Without hesitation, we embarked on our journey to Guangzhou for treatment.

On October 26, 2023, we arrived in Guangzhou and were successfully admitted to the hospital. After examination, the MDT of St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou made a diagnosis: stage IV lung cancer with multiple metastases and a large amount of pleural effusion. The MDT developed a comprehensive minimally invasive treatment plan for my husband: closed chest drainage, interventional arterial perfusion therapy, combined targeted therapy, and natural therapy.

The doctor told me that interventional therapy is a minimally invasive treatment using acupuncture, which is non-invasive and can deactivate all tumors in the body. Targeted therapy can accurately fight cancer cells, improve treatment, and reduce side effects. The role of natural therapy is to improve the body's immunity and reduce the risk of tumor recurrence. My husband and I both agreed to receive treatment and believed in the diagnosis and treatment techniques of the medical team.

My husband and me

After minimally invasive treatment, stage IV lung cancer, metastatic tumors, and pleural effusion disappeared.

When he was first admitted to the hospital, my husband kept coughing, had difficulty breathing, had pain in his back and ribs, and was very weak. After two courses of interventional chemotherapy, symptoms such as coughing and dyspnea have improved, and I can see that my husband is much more energetic. CT examination results showed that the metastases in the lungs and other parts of the body were significantly reduced, and the pleural effusion almost disappeared. Thanks to the MDT’s treatment wisdom and years of experience, the comprehensive minimally invasive treatment was formulated according to my husband’s physical condition and produced rapid and significant results.

After comprehensive minimally invasive treatment, all of my husband’s lesions are now under control. His weight is gradually increasing, and he can resume his daily activities, including work and exercise. We truly feel incredibly grateful and cannot thank St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou.

Warm companionship from family members in the fight against cancer, caring care from medical staff

The hospital environment is warm and comfortable, which has positively affected my husband's mood and sleep. A good treatment setting has facilitated his faster and better recovery. The medical staff are friendly, communicative, and gentle, ensuring that procedures like blood draws and treatments are done with care. My husband felt at ease and happy during his treatment, and I did too. We are grateful for the care from the medical team, as they helped my husband overcome cancer! The kindness of the staff and interpreters has left us with wonderful memories. May God bless them all!

Thanks to the medical staff for their treatment and kindness
