Foundamentally, interventional therapy is an interventional chemotherapy or interventional embolisation therapy. For lung cancer, if it’s non-small cell lung cancer, you need to take 4-6 sessions of interventional therapy. Efficacy will be evaluated every two sessions. It will depend on your cancer staging. The effective rate of interventional therapy varyies from different type of tumor.

For different type of tumor, different stage of cancer, it has different clinical efficiency and remission rate. For example, for lung cancer, if it’s early-stage lung cancer. The five-year survival rate of patient can be 80%-90%. For middle stage of lung cancer, it can be 50%-60%. For terminal lung cancer with widespread metastasis, the survival rate of the patient will be low. It’s about 20%

Integration of TCM and Western medicine to treat tumors is one of our strengths. When do TCM work best? It's best to use it when we do Western medicine. For example, if we do interventional therapy, we will inject some chemotherapeutic drugs into the tumor, or if we do electrotherapy, which produces side effects. It is the best time to use TCM, which can alleviate the side effects of the western medical treatment. This is one of the stages at which this therapy can be used.

Another stage of use is during tumor rehabilitation. The tumor has completely disappeared through Western medicine. How can we prevent it from recurring? At this time we can use TCM to treat it. In this way, the possibility of recurrence can be greatly reduced. TCM can improve the immune function, strengthen his body and minimize the possibility of tumor recurrence. Integration of TCM and Western medicine can reduce side effects and minimize the possibility of recurrence.

If there are several fibroids in the breast, what treatments can be chosen. I'd recommend cryotherapy or microwave ablation. There are several advantages. No scarring, completely invisible after the treatment. Another advantage is that the treatment is short , done in 20-40 minutes. The third advantage is that it is painless without side effects.

Whether you can undergo treatment for liver cancer depends primarily on the functionality of your liver.  If your liver function is still good. It is divided into 3 categories: A, B, and C. If you are still in grade A, I suggest you come for treatment. If your liver function is already in grade C, then treatment may not be that helpful. If you are in grade A, in your case, we need to see what drugs in addition to electrotherapy you have used in the past.

For example, have you used targeted drugs or immunotherapy drugs? If you have none of these, I suggest you come to our hospital for a treatment, which we call TACE/TAC treatment, with local ablation or targeted drugs. But you also need to provide me with more of your results so that I can give you a complete suggestion.

There will be a difference, but the difference is very small. We usually recommend one-stage reconstruction, that is, reconstruction during surgery. However, some patients have extensive skin invasion, and we feel that there is a situation where it is unsafe to have a one-stage reconstruction, we may do the reconstruction after the radiotherapy.

But for most patients, we recommend either a one-stage reconstruction or a two-stage, depending on the circumstances.

In China, we don’t often take TS-1. We take a drug called capecitabine. It's similar to TS-1. There are two methods. One method is to take it for half a year, and the other is to take it for a year. It seems that you have already taken it. In this case, taking this medication will help you reduce the rate of recurrence. It's better than not taking it. 

Then you should do a regular check-up and have a review every three months. For triple-negative breast cancer, the most common recurrence is within one year. If there is no recurrence in one year, the recurrence rate in the second year will be reduced by 50%. If there is no recurrence in two years. It's actually safer than other tumors. The recurrence rate will be very low after 5 years.
